Niche Edits
Contextual link placement opportunities within existing content, subject to publisher approval.
Your link, inside an article that already exists and already ranks.
What it is
A niche edit — also called a link insertion — is a link added to an existing article on a relevant website, where the link fits the article and the publisher agrees to it. Because the page already exists and is already indexed, the placement sits in real, established content.
That is the whole appeal. A guest post starts from nothing: new article, new page, new indexation. A niche edit starts from a page that already has readers and already shows up in search. Your link joins a conversation that is already happening, instead of starting a new one.
The catch is the fit. The link has to belong in that article. If it reads like it was forced in, the publisher will say no — and they should. We only pursue placements where the article genuinely talks about something your page adds to.
Who it is for
Niche edits suit websites that already rank or want links in established articles, and agencies that need contextual placements without commissioning a new article. They work well when you have a strong page that deserves a link from a specific article, and when the target page is a good match for what that article already says.
They are not the right choice when no existing article fits your page. In that case we will tell you, and suggest a guest post instead. Forcing a link into the wrong article helps no one — not you, not the publisher, and not the reader.
What you get
- Existing-page researchWe find articles that already exist, already rank, and already fit your page.
- Page screeningThe page and the site are both checked before we contact the publisher.
- Publisher agreementNothing goes live without the publisher’s agreement.
- Natural contextThe link sits where a reader would expect it, in the flow of the article.
- Published URLThe live link to the placement, so you can check it yourself.
- Written reportPublisher, page, anchor text and status for each placement.
How it works
- Share your requirements. Your target URL, your niche, your country, and the anchor text you would like.
- We find existing articles. We look for pages in your niche where your link would genuinely fit, and check each page and site.
- You approve the placement. You see the article and the proposed spot before we contact the publisher.
- We agree it with the publisher. We contact the publisher, explain the fit, and agree the placement and the wording.
- Placement and reporting. When the link is live, we send you the published URL and a written report.
Quality checks
Niche edits are only pursued where the existing page is relevant, well written, indexed, and the link genuinely fits. We check the page itself, not just the site: how old is it, does it get real traffic, is the content still accurate, and would a reader benefit from following your link? If the fit is forced, we do not pursue it.
What we need from you
Your target URL and the page you want linked, your niche, your target country, how many niche edits you need, and your preferred anchor text. If you already know of articles you would like a link from, tell us — we will check them and contact the publisher if they fit. If you have pages you do not want linked, tell us that too.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are niche edits?
A link added to existing content on a relevant website, where the link fits the article and the publisher agrees to it.
Are niche edits safe?
A placement is only as good as the publisher and the context. That is why we screen the site and the page first, and only proceed with publisher approval.
How are they different from guest posts?
A guest post is a new article written for a publisher. A niche edit adds a link to an article that already exists.
Can I choose the article?
Yes — you can suggest articles, and you approve the placement before we contact the publisher. If an article does not fit, we will tell you and look for a better one.
